Strut serves up Love and Death, a new platter of vibes from Ebo Taylor, the 74-year-old legendary composer, arranger and musician from Ghana. On this set, he is backed by Marijata (can’t wait for their upcoming Academy reissues), Kabu Kabu, and Afrobeat Academy (featuring member of The Poets of Rhythm and the same group who backed Oghene Kologbo, guitarist of Fela Kuti’s Africa 70, on his debut solo album a few years back).
