Check this highly-limited EP full of unreleased and exclusive cuts from the brilliant mind of Quantic. In this set, he pays tribute inna Cumbia-style to some Hip Hop classics. The idea for this musical project started when Quantic recorded “Rico Suave Bossa Nova (Cumbia de Dilla)” as a special one-off track, to play at DJ parties, particularly those in L.A. where Hip Hop and Cumbia have a special place in people’s hearts. The queue of eager fans crowding round to ask about the track inspired and set this new project on the road. This EP features the Dilla track and covers of KRS One, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliot, Outkast, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, and an original track, “Cuarta Con Cuarta”.
