I was reading the Bangkok Post yesterday and came across a story for a job in Queensland, Australia. Not just a job, but perhaps the best job in the World. That’s what they’ve dubbed it as, and I can’t find many reasons to disagree really.
The gist of it is that you get paid US$150,000 for six months of work which requires you to live in a multi-million-dollar, three-bedroom house on Hamilton Island located on the Great Barrier Reef. During your stay you must go snorkeling, swimming, diving, and sailing as much as possible while taking breaks to relax on the beach or take in some nightlife. Guess the real work comes when you have to continually keep the media posted on your happenings and give updates to promote tourism in the area. Not too shabby eh? The only catch to getting the job is that the competition is steep with more than 300,000 people having already sent in their application. Good luck if you wish to apply.
